3 Things to Pack for Your Photographer on Wedding Day

I LOVE a good detail shot from wedding day! It captures all of beautiful items from the day that are special and make your wedding unique. There are multiple detail items you will want your photographer to capture, but below are 3 detail items you will want to make sure you pack, They will take your detail photos to the next level.

1st item you need to pack for your photographer is: Your full invitation suite.

Make sure you pack your full invitation suite for your photographer to capture. Even include the type of stamps you used. Your invitation suite captures your wedding theme, all of the wedding information, and makes a great backdrop for other detail shots.

2nd item you need to pack for your photographer is: Extra flowers or greenery from the florist.

Talk to your florist before hand and ask for a few extra flowers or greenery for the photographer to use. The photographer can use your bouquet and/or other arrangements from the wedding if your budget doesn’t allow for the extra flowers or greenery cost. If you are able to, I would recommend getting the extra flowers and/or greenery, and let the photographer’s creativity shine with capturing the perfect pictures for you.

3rd item you need to pack for your photographer is: Sentimental item(s).

Sentimental items to include could be family heirloom jewelry you will be wearing, the bottle of your wedding day perfume, your something blue, and the list goes on. All are very special and important to capture. My suggestion is to make a list of all the details you want your photographer to capture. Then pack a bag labeled “wedding detail items” a few days prior to your wedding. When you arrive at your venue the day of your wedding, hand the “wedding detail items” bag to your wedding planner, so they can give it to your photographer when they arrive.
