My name is Jennifer Emens. I was born and raised in New Bern, North Carolina and ever since I was little, I dreamed about what my wedding day would be like, down to the very last detail. I firmly believe in what love stands for and weddings are a true example of that- love, commitment, Christ’s love for us and the promises made to be each other’s soulmate and partner for the rest of your life.
I started my journey in the event planning world while still in high school where I was able to channel my passion of serving others and planning events. Later I would attend East Carolina University where I completed my bachelors degree in Recreation and Park Management. Upon graduation, I accepted a job in Hickory, NC as a Recreation Programmer for the City of Hickory, planning and implementing numerous programs and special events. I loved planning events in Hickory but I was called home to New Bern, NC when offered a position as the Special Project Coordinator with the City of New Bern.
I have spent the past 7 years planning some amazing events and organizing numerous projects, but my next great event is just around the corner. With years of experience planning events and having the passion to serve others, I hope you will allow me the privilege to make the wedding of your dreams a reality.

Susie is my (Jennifer) amazing mother. She is my biggest supporter and best friend! I am so blessed to be able to work alongside my mom. She has the biggest caring heart, and goes above and beyond to make sure each couple has the best experience on their wedding day.

My name is Selena! Being a wedding planner has been a dream of mine for quite some time. I’ve always loved planning and decorating any kind of event. I remember as a kid watching The Wedding Planner movie on repeat and thinking that’s what I want to be one day! I’m so happy to be able to bring my childhood dreams to life and help couples have the most exquisite and memorable wedding day!
